NorCal College Wakeboard Weekend

Sacramento California
October 26 - 27th, 2013

This might be the biggest weekend in college wakeboarding to date, excluding the College Wake Championships in Las Vegas of course. We are pulling off a double event Halloween weekend with the Collegiate Wake Series on Saturday at the Watersports Farm, and then followed up by the Collegiate Cable Tour at Wake Island Sunday morning.

Both of these events will be the only West Coast qualifiers this season for teams in the region. You aren't going to want to miss this one. Teams must be registered with Empire Wake for these events and must have team uniforms in order to compete.

Teams will be getting in Friday night to the Watersports Farm and set up camp. We will be holding registrations and a meet and greet for everyone. This will help save time on Saturday in order to get all the riders in.

Saturday will begin the event at 9am with the Intermediate Division in the water first, followed up by the Women's, Advanced, Open, Wakeskate and lastly Beginner. The event will pull as many riders as possible until dark.

At dark the Halloween after party begins! Music and contest will go until midnight. This event is open to the public and for all ages. Awards will be handed out at night as well during this time.

Sunday morning at 10am will begin the Collegiate Cable Tour stop at Wake Island Cable Park. Registration for this event will be on Saturday at the Watersports Farm.

Beginner Divisions will be in the water at 10am Sunday morning. The Cable event will end at noon followed up by awards for just the Collegiate Cable Tour.

Entry fee for the Collegiate Wake Series is $40 per rider. Teams may bring as many riders as they would like. Each rider earns points for that teams national ranking.
